Buckinghamshire Wedding Venues18/07/2012
There are so many wonderful venues to choose from here in Bucks. One that we visited recently is the most spectacular medieval manor house on the Bucks/Oxon boarder in the gorgeous village of Long Crendon, near Thame. It’s a privately owned property that functions as a bed and breakfast but has space inside it’s stunning oak panelled banqueting halls for a small wedding or grounds outside for a marquee to cater for larger events. There are a few bedrooms within the house that would be ideal for the wedding night for the bride and groom and parents or close friends/relatives to stay in. For the others that wish to stay nearby, the owners are open to the idea of campers or mini yurts can be erected . Although the venue does not at this time have a license to marry under civil law (there is a nearby registry office and village church), it should not be dismissed as this really is a special and unique place and will guarantee wonderful memories and magnificent photographs on the day. http://www.longcrendonmanor.co.uk
